Jacob de Keizer

Jacob de Keizer (also spelled Keyser) was a Dutch engraver and cartographer active in the early 18th century, roughly between 1706 and 1750. Though little is known about his personal life, he was based in Almelo and is recognized for detailed engraving work on maps, including those based on the work of prominent cartographers like Guillaume Delisle. His contributions include engraved maps of various regions, valued for their accuracy and artistic detail during the period. Collectors appreciate his work for preserving geographic knowledge and artistic engraving traditions in the Netherlands during that time.
