Op de afbeelding zijn schepen bij de poort te zien, wat een levendige indruk geeft van de historische haven van de stad.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"779\">A.J. Terwen graveerde de met de hand ingekleurde staalgravure naar een ontwerp van L. Rohbock. G.G. Lange in Darmstadt en G.B. van Goor in Gouda publiceerden deze rond 1865. De prent combineert heldere lijnen met delicate kleuren, waardoor de architectonische en maritieme details goed tot hun recht komen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"1028\">De afbeelding meet 11,3 \u00d7 15,7 cm en is in goede staat. Buiten de afbeelding is enige verkleuring door ouderdom zichtbaar.
