Deze Huis Poelenburg Heemskerk-prent heeft als titel \u201c\u2019t Huis Poelenburg by Heemskerk 1725, sederd geheellyk afgebroken.\u201d<\/em> Het toont het voormalige herenhuis Huis Poelenburg bij Heemskerk in Kennemerland. De prent toont een gebouw dat niet meer bestaat, wat de historische waarde ervan vergroot.<\/p>\n

Hendrik Spilman maakte deze met de hand ingekleurde ets als onderdeel van zijn serie Kennemerlandsche Gezichten<\/em>. Dit voorbeeld is nummer 8 uit de serie, die in 1739 werd gepubliceerd. De compositie is helder en decoratief, met veel aandacht voor landschap en architectonische details.<\/p>\n
