Het rustige landschap geeft een duidelijk beeld van het platteland tussen de twee steden aan het einde van de 18e eeuw.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"729\">De prent is een delicate, met de hand ingekleurde aquatintgravure. Samuel Ireland publiceerde deze op 1 februari 1795 in Londen. Fijne lijnen en zachte kleuren cre\u00ebren diepte en sfeer. Hierdoor voelt de sc\u00e8ne vredig en evenwichtig aan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"988\">The image measures 10.5 \u00d7 16 cm and is in very good condition. Collectors value this antique view of Delft and The Hague for its subtle colour, rural subject, and refined engraving technique.
