The drawing depicts the northern entrance to Haarlem, once located behind what is now the station at Kennemerplein. In the distance stands the tower of the former leprosy house, known as the Dolhuis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Pannebakker made this drawing around 1810 as a study for one of his aquatint engravings. The sheet is listed as number 808 in\u00a0Harlemia Illustrata. The work measures 15.5 x 22.3 cm and is in very good condition. His clean pen lines and soft washes show careful observation and fine artistic control.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">This Haarlem Dijmanspoort Drawing is an authentic and rare document of a lost part of the city.
